| There are many opportunities available to participate
in mission trips, especially for young people. However, there are few
opportunities available specifically for young women. Gender-specific
mission opportunities foster an atmosphere of fellowship and enable the
development of relationships, including accountability and encouragement. |
 |
Collegiate Missions Connection opportunities are unique because
these opportunities are specifically for young women to minister to other
women (or children) and to minister alongside women serving in vocational or
volunteer ministry positions. An objective of Collegiate Missions Connection is to
expose young women to ministry/missions opportunities specifically for
women, thereby increasing their awareness of ministry opportunities for
women.
